I've been promising you all those pictures for a while now. You'll get them tonight. Honest.

I really don't have a weekend this weekend like I wanted to.
Next week, I'll be away in Park City. I'm going to see if I can't search out a yarn store there. I have two projects that are minutes away from finishing: one needs a couple of seems and the other needs the ends to be weaved in. I'll see if I can't post those tonight or tomorrow.
I'm planning on starting a new project next week in Park City, but I don't know if I'll really have time. Actually, I will have time, but I won't have time to post because I won't have the Internet.

Fleece for spinning

And then one day, it happens.

I found someone who is willing to give me free llama and sheep fleece for spinning. It's a little bit of a drive (Heber City), and I don't know how to spin my own yarn- let alone know if it's even feasible for me to look into.

But it's on my mind.

My mom and sister liked their gifts. I finished a scarf I did with some scraps and I need to sew up my last slipper. I'll post the pictures tonight. I don't like having scraps sitting around, so I'm going to have to find something to do with the blue left over from my mom's socks. I'm thinking of doing a small moebius strip. I always liked those. I need to do a Klein hat one of these days.

Also on my list of things to do: Go to Heindselman's and ask the ladies about opinions for my sweater vest. Buy some yarn for a side project. And get started on cross stitching a couple of stockings for McKay and I for Christmas. He still hasn't told me what he wants. I want to use this pattern and cross stitch my stocking with it. I think it'd be cool if he let me do a fractal design for his, too. Then, as we start a family, each person could have a fractal stocking! It'd be art, and not overly cutesy.

I didn't really follow my "at bat, on deck, in the hole" plan this past week. I found my leftover yarn from other projects and have been using it up. I just can't stand space being taken up by something that isn't being used. I'm an un-stash knitter. It's rare, but I like feeling like I've completed a skein and my money wasn't wasted.
I'll post pictures of the post-scrap devourment this week.
