Yarn: On Your Toes 4 Ply
I started this back in January 2008. I finished the first sock in February of 2008. Then it sat. And sat. And sat.
And I decided I needed to get over my SSS, so in late August 2009, I started the other sock and I finished it today.
McKay insisted they would look better if I started the second sock at the same place in the yarn as the first, so I tried my best. It's off by 2 rows, I think. I tried to use my gauge to control that so by the time I got to the toe, they're pretty much even.
These are the best fitting socks I've knit. Because of the stretchiness of the ribbing, it's easy to get over my ankle and it's not too tight. My only concern is keeping them up at my calf.
