It was cloudy today for the picture and in my attempt to get the settings on the camera to work well in overcast lighting, these colors turned out very bright. I personally think they are more jewel-toned.
The pattern says to do garter stitch, but I did stockinette because I'm not going to actually use this as a meditative finger labyrinth, but as a wall-hanging. I think the design is beautiful. I'll probably frame it.
This was also my first project with my fancy new blocking kit I bought at Stitches. It looks good, doesn't it?
I finished this sock during General Conference, but I'm going to re-do the bind off and I need to get started on the second sock. This will be for my mom. We have similarly-sized feet (mind are wider), so if they fit me, they'll fit her.
A sneak peak of a gift I'm working on.
A finger labyrinth. Finger labyrinths can be used for textural meditation.
And, as always, the rainbow shawl. I'm in the middle of frogging a couple of rows because I forgot which row I was on and messed up the lace pattern. Because it's so fragile, I can only work on it when both the kids are asleep, so if you suspect that I don't get much time to work on it, you guess correctly.
