Presto Hat

Pattern: Presto Baby Hat
Yarn: Red Heart Soft in Forest Green 7684

This was the last item in my "I want to do a few quick projects" run. It was in my queue, but both my babies are too big for it. The doll is a little small for it. But I'm sure I'll run into a baby to give it to.

FO: Super Heroine Mask

Pattern: Secret Identity Mask in Knit
Yarn: Encore Worsted in 9601

Sometimes I feel like a superheroine and sometimes I need the mask to prove it. Margaret wants one, too.

FO: Alligator

Pattern: Baby Gators
Yarn: Some acrylic I had lying around

After finishing the legwarmers, I wanted to do a couple of quick projects. Here's an alligator I made last week. Pardon my inability to sew legs on straight. I don't know what my issue is.

I really love how deep the alligator's mouth is. You can fit a couple of marbles in there! Hungry hungry gator!

FO: Legwarmers

Pattern: Uyen

Yarn: Tosca Light in 777.0068

These were made for a woman at church. She chose the yarn and pattern. I'm modeling them here. and I'm taking the picture from above looking at my feet. Sorry about that!

Easy pattern, might not stay up without some sort of garter. I'm going to wash them once before giving them to the recipient to even out some of the laddering of the stitches. This was my first project while doing two tubes on two circs. I like that I don't have to knit another! McKay is wishing I had done this with his socks- he has one sock and is patiently waiting for another.

FO: Knitted ball

Pattern: Gevlochten Bal
Yarn: Some acrylic I had on hand

This is for a baby shower. Don't mind the pictures. I was trying to figure out the manual settings on my camera here.

Recap of June

I had our ward's quilt from quilting group for a week. For every hour I work on a quilt, I get a raffle ticket to win the finished quilt. And I don't have to own a ton of fabric or quilting supplies, so it's a really good deal.

Here's my shawl on display at the county fair. I won honorable mention. The county fiar people didn't display it as I'd like, but I guess that comes with the territory. At least it wasn't upside down or backwards like one of the shawls I saw.

I have a long list of projects I need to start. Maybe July will be my magic month!
